Launch of the latest iPhone resulted in tremendous profits and success for Apple.
The iPhone 4, released on June 24, 2010, offers a number of features which are exclusively manufactured for pre ordered iPhones only. Initially, the phone will be offered in black or white colors only. Additional colors will be available and introduced after the first release of the phone. The iPhone 4 was originally planned to be introduced in July 2010, but due to the overwhelmingly high demand from consumers, Apple released it at the end of June 2010 instead.
With regards to pre orders, there have already been 60,000 orders in place. This kind of demand did not occur for any other company offering similar mobile devices. In order to make ordering the phone quick and easy, Apple made online booking available on both Apple and AT & T websites. However, this service did not gain popularity among consumers due to various service errors experienced by customers. For this reason, the pre ordering option was shifted to be offered in the Apple store instead. Various versions of iPhone 4 are now available for customers to obtain.
The pre-ordering option was greeted with remarkably high demand from consumers as evident by cell phone sales increased 3 percent in a single day. According to expert sales forecasts, it is estimated that Apple will break all records in cell phone sales with the release of the iPhone 4.
